Converted Lampshade
The light bulb as we know it, at least in Europe, is condemned to disappear. In the future a usual lampshade will have no function anymore. The classic form of the conical lampshade was taken and unfolded in aluminium to adjust to its new function: It now serves as a heat sink for 4-high power LED’s, which are covered by a thin acrylic glass. Two steel ropes hold the lamp and conduct the current.
